SATA history began in 1907 when SANITARIA company was established, and it specialized in medical equipment manufacturing. SATA brand, which later gained global recognition and reflected in the company name, appeared in 1919.  

In 1925 SATA started production of the first SATA LM spray guns. Subsequently its product range has increased substantially and included various spray guns for any liquid material application – from sealants to varnishes.
